Scuba Diving at Chidiyatapu

Chidiyatapu is the best dive location close to Port Blair, making it a must-do activity for everyone visiting the islands. This dive is appropriate for both experienced divers and those just learning to dive who want to enjoy diving and discover the underwater environment. With pick-up/drop-off from Port Blair, scuba diving on Chidiyatapu Island is a half-day activity where our staff will teach some fundamental skills to do a guided tour underwater (not deeper than 12 meters). There will be a 1:1 ratio between the diver and the trainer. Together with taking underwater photos.

Travel guide

• The driver will pick up the visitors from Port Blair at the appointed time.

• It will take us roughly 30 minutes to drive from Port Blair to Chidhiyatapu.

• We'll have a training session and a guide to help you with scuba diving.

• We'll learn from the instructor how to move and breathe underwater.

• Put on your diving gear and spend about 30 minutes at Chidhiyatapu admiring underwater marine life.

• Following diving, we'll eat lunch before beginning the trip back to Port Blair.

• The visitors are returned to the hotel in Port Blair.
